• Cost for non-UC affiliated participants: $299 (payment portal)

*Please note -- For UC students interested in attending in-person but have not received an official invite from the organizers, please contact us to request in-person participation. Our venue capacity is limited and we cannont accept registrations from those who have not been invited. Additionally, you must be at least 21 years of age to attend the Oktoberfest on September 27.

This event – a successor to the CROSS Research Symposia series – mixes in-person, hybrid and fully remote activities in an effort to provide a larger audience the opportunity to learn about the cutting edge open source research being done throughout the University of California. ….AND returning once again … the annual UC Santa Cruz Systems Research Lab’s Oktoberfest barbecue on the evening of September 27 immediately following the symposium’s first day.

When you register, please choose whether you plan to attend in-person or remotely. Registration for this event implies you have agreed to our code of conduct.

We are still looking for organizations to partner with us this year. If you are interested in being a conference sponsor, please let us know! Organizations that sponsor this event will be given public acknowledgement on the Symposium website and agenda, and get free passes for in-person participation.
